Aggie-developed Maps For Visually Impaired

After taking a 3D printing course in the Engineering Innovation Center, Tyler Wooten '19 decided he wanted to use his new knowledge on a project that would help others.

That project? He is designing 3D-printed tactile maps of Texas A&M's campus for visually impaired students.

He started the project as a freshmen and has plans to continue with the possibility of displaying a larger map in the MSC and developing a map for Downtown Bryan.
