Johnnie Park Snow 

July 12, 1942 - February 9, 2024 

Johnnie Park Snow, 81, of Abilene, Texas, passed away in Hammond, Louisiana on February 9th, 2024. 

Johnnie attended McMurry College in Abilene, received a Master's Degree at University of Arkansas Fayetteville, and PhD at Texas A&M University, before becoming a research professor at LSU.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Farnum and Erma Snow, brother, Jerry Lee Snow and is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Poynor Snow, two sons, Gregory Park Snow, Jeffrey Reid Snow, wife Jill, and grandchildren Annabelle and Jacob Snow, and sister Joyce Mundy, husband Bryan.

Celebration of life service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Hammond, Louisiana on Thursday, February 15th. Visitation will be at 10am, service to begin at 11am. A graveside service will be held in Berryville, Arkansas at the Berryville Cemetery on Sunday, February 18th at 2pm.
