Eugene G. Pavlat 

August 27, 1941 - February 17, 2024 

Eugene G. Pavlat, age 82, of Temple, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1941 in Holland, Texas the son of Joseph C. and Angelina (Zrubek) Pavlat.

Eugene earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University, served his country in the United States Army, and went to work for the USDA Farmers Home Administration. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7197 Assembly #1138, current president of the KJT, and when not involved in his numerous activities, Eugene loved spending time at his farm in Holland, Texas.

Eugene is survived by his wife Charlene of Temple, daughter Denise Chenault and husband Mike of Austin, grandchildren, Evan and Kylie Chenault of Austin, a nephew Ronnie Pavlat of Texas and a niece Karen Penler of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joe Pavlet, Jr., and an infant brother Dennis Pavlat.
