Karen Lynn McLaughlin 

November 18, 1958 - April 23, 2024 

Karen Lynn McLaughlin, 65 of Benbrook, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. She was born November 18, 1958 in Waco, Texas to Wayne and Martha McLaughlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Shawn McLaughlin.

Karen was raised by loving parents and grew up attending Western Hills Church of Christ in Ft Worth.

She graduated from Western Hills High School in 1977. Karen attended Texas A&M University and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 1981.

Always the communicator, she worked for Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages and ended her working career at AT&T. While working during her high school years, at Bonanza Restaurant, she dated Keith Fox. They married, April 22, 1995. Unfortunately, the marriage ended several years later.

Karen cherished her family! She loved and doted on her two nephews, Connor McLaughlin and Daniel Boorman.

She is survived by her sister, Diane Boorman; brother-in-law, Warren Boorman and their son, her nephew, Daniel Boorman; her nephew, Connor McLaughlin and sister-in-law, Cindy McLaughlin.

Reception will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday May 3, 2024 in Memorial Suite C - D, Greenwood Funeral Home, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth.

Burial 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 4, 2024 at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth.
