James Elmer "Jim" Sadler 

June 5, 1933 - April 22, 2024 

James (“Jim”) Elmer Sadler, age 90, peacefully passed away on Apr. 22, 2024 in Fullerton, CA. Jim was born in Marietta, OK to Cecil E. Sadler and Katherine C. Sadler.

Jim received his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. Jim was proud to have a long tenure at McDonnell-Douglas (later Boeing).

Fifty-nine years ago, he met the love of his life on a flight from Texas to Los Angeles, Ruth J. Livenick from Chicago. They were married less than a year later. Jim is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Jim is remembered by family and friends as a gentle and kind spirit. He was a loving husband, uncle and friend. He was full of life and loved his Texas A&M Aggies.

Jim will be dearly missed. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Texas A&M Foundation.
