Daryl Edward Cummings 

January 2, 1950 - January 29, 2024 

Daryl Edward Cummings, 74, of Alvaton, KY passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence. He was a native of Detroit, MI and born January 2, 1950. He was preceded in death by his wife Diana Cummings, parents Edward Stephen Cummings and Bernadine (Bejma) Cummings.

Daryl was the retired safety director for Airgas where he worked for over 40 years and was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps. He was a graduate from Texas A & M University, where he received a degree in Marine Biology. Daryl was an avid Indy Cart Racing Fan and loved Michigan State-especially the Detroit Lions, also loved fishing, cruises and was a captivating story teller, and Most of all, he loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son Christopher Patrick Cummings (Anna) of Fort Mill, SC and daughter Lauren Cummings of Austin, TX. Four sisters Sharon Kruzyck, Sandra Graydon (Wayne), Pamela Cummings and Paula Eckhout (Rick). Four precious grandchildren Amelia, Charlotte, Leo and Levi.

There will be visitation Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Cremation was chosen with a Memorial Service at a later date.
