William Patrick "Bill" Bambrick, Jr. 

December 31, 1951 - May 3, 2024 

William Patrick Bambrick, Jr. “Bill” 72 entered into rest on Friday May 3, 2024.

Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years: Mrs. Debbie Bambrick and children: Cheryl Bambrick Ellis and her husband John Ellis, Ginger Spivey and her husband Matt Spivey, Patrick Bambrick and his wife Brittany Bambrick; grandchildren: Ashley Carter Ellis, William John Ellis, Jr., Denton Spivey, and Mollie Spivey.

Bill was a proud graduate of Texas A & M University with a degree in Horticulture. He was a member of Squadron 1 and fondly called “Peach” for the class of 1973. He loved horticulture which guided him to be manager of Green Thumb West Garden Center. He then started his own business Loblolly Bay Landscape Company. He was awarded for his creative talent at the Sacred Heart Garden Festival. He also provided and designed the floral installations to the Rosary Garden at Most Holy Trinity Catholic church in Augusta GA. In 2014 Bill and his family were honored as Irish Family of the Year. He was an active member of the Irish American Heritage Society, Martinez-Evans Rotary Club, Beech Island Agricultural Club, and the Knights of Columbus.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 9, 2024 Beginning at 5:00 P.M. immediately followed by a memorial service at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Augusta Stained Glass Restoration Project.
