Carl Richard Routh 

May 2, 1966 - June 9, 2023 

Carl Richard Routh of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on June 9, 2023. He was born on May 2, 1966 in Dallas, Texas and spent the early part of his childhood in Garland, Texas before moving to Houston in 1972.

Carl attended Spring Branch ISD schools and earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University in 1988. He built a successful career in wealth management, serving as a Senior Vice President of Oppenheimer & Co. from 1991 until his passing.

For the last three years, Carl enjoyed many hobbies including; traveling throughout the USA and internationally, attending concerts, dancing, reading and was famous for his decorating skills and love of art. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, kind eyes, and his humble, happy and inclusive spirit. He was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Margaret Louise Turner Routh and John Jacob Routh. He is survived by wife Monica Dantes-Buckley; sister Rhonda DeLeon and husband Michael; and children Morgan Routh Bernshausen and husband Blake, Turner John Routh, Kristen Ann Routh, and Meg Horn.
