Evan Christopher Sterle passed away on May 22, 2024, in Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. Frank, and Betty Sterle; His grandmother Ada Lee Wamble; His aunt, Mary Sterle Massey, and cousin, Mary Wilcox.

Evan is survived by his wife, Amanda Sterle and son, Tyler Sterle. His parents, Frank, and Debbie Sterle; Brother, Adam Sterle; Aunts Patti Giannone, Phyllis Love and Diane Wilcox; Uncle, Wendell Love and cousins, Geoffrey Giannone, Michelle Neundorfer and Michael Wilcox. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Earl, and Sandy Cegielski; Brother-in-law and wife, Eric and Stephanie Cegielski and nieces Sophie and Rosie Cegielski.

Evan attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, Seton Catholic Junior High and graduated from St. Pius X High School in 2004. He then attended Blinn College and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008.

Evan had such a big heart and always believed in the best in people, whether he knew them or was meeting them for the first time. He was loud, opinionated, always boisterous but proudly accepted who he was. He enjoyed living life to the fullest, spending time outdoors with family and friends, whether it be a boat ride out on the lake, fishing, floating the river, having a cookout, mudding, or riding side by sides. You would never catch him sitting down. His son, Tyler was never too far behind him, learning how to embrace the outdoors, scraping a few knees, and getting a little muddy. His laugh and infectious smile will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. Lastly, along with his love for his son Tyler, Evan passionately loved his wife, Amanda, openly expressing the grace, joy and foundation she brought into his life. This is the love that will live on forever, in this life or the next.

A visitation for Evan will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM. A dinner will follow at 7:30 pm at the American Legion, 3720 Alba Rd. Houston, TX 77018.
