Danny R. Jordan 

May 26, 1939 - January 28, 2024 

Danny Jordan, age 84, of Rowlett, TX, passed away peacefully at home with family on January 28, 2024. He was born on May 26, 1939, in Linden, TX to John Otis Jordan and Hannah (Dudley) Jordan. He was the youngest of three sons.

Dan loved his family and the love of his life Carolyn his wife whom he traveled the country with and shared 49 years together. Dan was an East Texas country boy and a true southern gentleman. He served in the U.S Air Force and graduated from Texas A&M University.

He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around and make everyone laugh. He loved fishing, old country music and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved his family and showed us all unconditional love and grace. He found so much joy and pride in his grandchildren and loved to play with them. His legacy lives on. Dan was a beautiful soul and left a trail of beautiful memories behind.

He is survived by his Son Matthew Jordan and wife Tracey. Grandchildren Connor Jordan and wife Brittney. Rebecca Mcloughlin and husband Tyler. Courtney Jordan. Noah Jordan. Derek Jolley and wife Stephanie. Shane and wife, Amber Bryant. Ashley Rockey. And 13 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his wife Carolyn Jordan and Son Mark Jordan.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00am Friday, February 2, 2024, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall location. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall location.
