Eugene D. Arcand 

August 5, 1958 - August 18, 2023 

Eugene D. Arcand, 65, passed peacefully on August 18, 2023, after a brief illness. Born in Middletown, CT and formerly of Durham, he spent many years at sea as a Merchant Marine. A graduate of Texas A&M in Galveston, Texas, Eugene was a fine cook, a patient fisherman and an eternal traveler. He most recently lived in Englewood, FL.

He is survived by his children, Andrew Philip Reinhardt, and Colin Maxwell Henault-Arcand, his mother, Mary Jane Arcand and siblings Michael Arcand, Marie LaBelle and Martha Holmes, his grandchildren including Madison Marie and Adrianna Arcand, and several treasured friends. He was predeceased by his father Maurice Arcand and his brother Philip Arcand. There will be a service in Spring of 2024.

The sea will miss a beloved companion. May the four winds blow him safely home.
