Clinton Doyle "Clint" Byrum 

October 20, 1969 - June 13, 2024 

Clinton Doyle Byrum of McKinney, Texas passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024 at the age of 54 after a courageous 2-year battle with cancer. He was born on October 20, 1969 in Weatherford, Texas.

Clint grew up in Tyler, Texas, where he attended Tyler Lee High School and graduated in 1989. His academic journey continued at Texas A&M University, where he graduated in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. Gig ‘em

On November 17, 2001, Clint married the love of his life, Tara Foster, in Dallas, Texas. Their marriage was a testament to their deep affection and unwavering support for one another. Clint’s irrevocable dedication and love for his children and friends were evident in all aspects of his life. There was never a moment where he did not put his faith and family first.

Clint will be remembered for his unrelenting work ethic, his ability to bring people together, his giving soul, his quick-wit, and his uncanny ability to tell a joke to lighten any mood.

Above all, Clint cherished his family, friends, and faith. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years Tara Michelle Byrum of McKinney, Texas; son, Caden Dean Byrum of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Keaton Michelle Byrum of McKinney, Texas; son Cooper Reid Byrum of McKinney, Texas; nephew, Dylan Paul Greer of Austin, Texas; father & mother-in-law, Rick and Cinda Foster of Allen, Texas; brother-in-law & wife, Shane & Anilee Foster of Colorado; nephew, Brandon Foster of Colorado; niece, Alexis Foster of Colorado; and a host of numerous other loving and loyal friends.

Clint was preceded in death by his dear sister Roxanne Byrum Greer.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
