Colin R. Ocker

August 3, 1973 - July 13, 2024

Colin R. Ocker, age 50, passed away on July 13, 2024 in Port Aransas, Texas. He was born in Coral Gables, Florida to Richard and Gail Ocker.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Colin would readily attest to his remarkable kindness and selflessness. His passion for fishing was legendary, but it was his love for his family, friends, and the outdoors that truly defined him. Colin's home is filled with beautiful woodworking pieces he created, many of which he gave as gifts. He eagerly seized any opportunity to hike and backpack with his wife, sons, and friends.

Colin was survived by his wife, Liette (Bellerive) Ocker and sons, Ethan Ocker and Caleb Ocker.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Port Aransas Civic Center, 710 W. Ave A, Port Aransas, TX. 78373. Reception immediately following.

A Burial at Sea will follow at 4:00pm. All friends and family of Colin are welcome to join our fishing community to honor Colin’s final resting place at the Farewell Buoy. Through generous donations of Captains in the area, there will be boats available for all those who would like to join us.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colin’s favorite charities: Trinity by the Sea https://www.trinitybythesea.org/ or Majesty Outdoors (Port A) https://www.majestyoutdoors.org/
