William George Becker, affectionately known as Billy or Pa, passed away on August 4, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 73 in Becker, Texas. Born on February 7, 1951, in Caracas, Venezuela, to Maj. Gen. William A. Becker (retired) and Frances Carlyle Becker, Bill's life was filled with love, laughter, and a passion for the outdoors, leaving behind cherished memories for his family and friends.

Growing up in a military family, Bill's educational journey was marked by his attendance at three different primary schools, four different high schools and even an international school while living in Yugoslavia. Upon graduating high school in 1969, Bill moved to College Station to attend Texas A&M University where he joined the Corps of Cadets as a proud member of the Company F-2, Fighting Fox Company. Beginning with 35 "Fish", Bill was one of 11 that successfully finished as a senior cadet. Those 11 cadets developed close bonds and friendships that have endured over 50 years. After graduating TAMU with a degree in Business Administration in 1973, Bill was commissioned in the U.S. Army as an Officer in the Field Artillery and served with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Professionally, Bill dedicated over 40 years to the sale of services and service-related products, excelling in community banking, real estate, construction services, and IT training. His commitment to the community was evident through his roles as a past president of the Lions Club, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and various city committee boards, as well as serving as a board member of United Way.

Bill led a fulfilling personal life, enriched by hobbies like hunting, fishing, camping, and wildlife management. He cherished cruising with his wife and going on family vacations. Known as the king of lists and dad jokes, his sense of humor brought smiles to everyone around him. Making others laugh gave him a deep sense of joy.

Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Jennifer; his children, Casey and wife Ashleigh of Kaufman, Carrie of Kaufman, Kayla and husband Jonathan of Rockwall, and Austin and wife Tabitha of Becker. He is also survived by his sister, Anne Becker Tolbert and husband Jerry of Woodville; his brother, Chris Becker of Kaufman; and his sister, Kim Becker Barnett and husband Keith of Rowlett. Bill was a proud Pa to 12 adoring grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maj. Gen. William A. Becker (retired) and Frances Carlyle Becker.
