James Truett "Jim" Sanders 

June 11, 1944 - September 1, 2024 

Jim was born in 1944 in San Antonio, Texas then moved to Austin at a young age where he lived for a number of years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He spent most of his working years with Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.

Jim was a devoted family man and volunteered his spare time to various community activities including the Boy Scouts and youth sports organizations.

He is predeceased by two sons - Greg Sanders and Ryan Sanders. He is survived by Kay, his wife of 57 years; sons Jeff and Mike and his wife Jennifer; and his sister Carolyn Boon.
