Michael Thomas Little

September 28, 1959 - August 24, 2024

Michael Thomas Little, aged 64, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on August 24, 2024. From the moment of his birth on September 28, 1959 to Patricia Mensik and Franklin Little, he was a spirited provocateur.

Michael was many things: a record-setting college football player, a skilled contractor, a talented architect, and an adaptable entrepreneur. Michael was a linebacker at Texas A&M University, where he once held the record for the most tackles in a season. After graduating with a degree in Environmental Design, he founded and ran his own subcontracting firm for several years. Following successful positions in various construction design firms, he turned his sights on alternative energy development and agricultural modernization through both business and political initiatives. To each of these ventures he brought a wicked sense of humor and an irresistible elevator pitch. Above all he was a dreamer- no idea was too big and he was always the man for the job.

He is survived by his former wife, Helene, and their four children, Keeton, Mac, Calli, and Avery; his grandson, Alex; his mother, Pat; and his five siblings Frank, Karen, Carol, James, and Sheryl; a heap of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his partner, Pam.

His life will be celebrated in proper fashion at a tailgate for a Texas A&M football game next season.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Henderson Hospital in Las Vegas for their unmatched patience and compassion during Michael’s time there.

Michael believed that life was for the living, and he will live on as a reminder to his loved ones to take each day as a new adventure and never pass up the opportunity to make a good joke.
