Brian Alexander Tripsa

December 22, 2000 - October 6, 2024

Brian Alexander Tripsa, 23, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, after visiting Texas A&M University to see the Aggies BTHO Missouri. He was born on December 22, 2000, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Marius and Daniela Tripsa.

Brian lived an incredibly abundant life during his 23 years with us. Although born in South Carolina, it wasn’t long before he embarked on the first of many grand adventures when his family moved to Romania as expats when he was 7 years old. He handled the abrupt change with grace, just as he did with everything else in his life. While living abroad, he actively participated in theater and soccer programs every year. His time abroad gave him the opportunity to visit and experience numerous places across multiple continents, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He mastered the French language—and, just as impressively, the art of enjoying a good French baguette. He never shied away from a good meal, even when he didn’t know exactly what was in it.

After returning to the United States at age 12, Brian quickly made his mark in Katy, Texas. He built a strong community there and continued his stellar academic and soccer career. After graduating from Seven Lakes High School, he was accepted into the Mays Business School’s honors program, where he majored in Business Finance. Prior to his graduation, he was selected for the prestigious Aggies on Wall Street program, which set him on the path to a career in investment banking. During his final year at Texas A&M, Brian experienced the joy of love through his relationship with Ariel Tucker, whom he met in class. He began courting her by walking her to her car every day after class, and their love continued to blossom beyond his time at Texas A&M. He was fully committed to spending his life with her.

After graduating with exemplary grades, Brian accepted a position at Houlihan Lokey as an Investment Banking Analyst, where he displayed incredible skill and talent.

Brian was known as a remarkable presence who lit up every room he entered, conquered every challenge, and enriched the lives of everyone he met. His charm was irresistible, and his talent was boundless. Though his time with us was tragically cut short, the impact he made on the world and those around him is immeasurable. Brian took great care of his body throughout his life and chose to donate his organs, giving the gift of life to others—a single donation can save up to eight lives.

Through his love for Ariel, Brian also discovered a deeper love for God, and he found comfort in his Christian faith during his final months.

He is survived by his mother and father, Daniela and Marius Tripsa; his grandmother, Maria Tripsa; his sister, Maxine Tripsa Paschal; his brother-in-law, West Paschal; his uncle and aunt, Marcel and Carole Tripsa; and his cousin, Michael Tripsa.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Marius Tripsa Sr. and Cornel Staniloiu, and his grandmother, Camelia Staniloiu.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at StoneBridge Church in The Woodlands, Texas, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at Mitchell’s Chophouse in The Woodlands Country Club at 12:30 p.m. His family invites all who knew him to attend and bring a story to share at the celebration, honoring the joy that Brian brought to the world. Brian's final resting place will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway Houston Tx. 77079.
