Ronald Wayne "Ron" Hewlett 

September 30, 1956 - October 10, 2024 

Services for Ronald Wayne Hewlett, 68, of Berryville, TX, will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Jackson’s Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home, 215 E. Front Street Tyler, TX 75702. Burial will follow at Cathedral in the Pines in Tyler, TX under the direction of Jackson’s Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.

Ron passed away October 10th, 2024 at his home in Berryville, TX. Ron was born September 30th, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to Gil & Lou Hewlett.

Ron graduated High School from Robert E. Lee in Tyler, Texas in 1974 and graduated from Texas A&M University Class of 1978, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He retired from a lifetime of service to TP&L / TXU / Oncor and was a former Mayor of Berryville, TX. He was a loving husband, brother, and father who enjoyed being surrounded by his adoring family and friends, often volunteering with GrapeFest in Grapevine, TX or participating in Ambucks.

Ron was preceded in death by his Brother Michael Hewlett and his Parents Gil & Lou Hewlett.

Ron is survived by his wife, Wanda Hewlett, Son Jonathan Hewlett, Wife Tannia and Son Mason, Son Grey Hewlett-Medina and Husband Alby, and Sister Kathy Hewlett and Son Kyle and Daughter Katie.
