George Woodard, III 

September 11, 1955 - October 10, 2024 

George Woodard, known as "Big Woo", passed away in Arlington, Texas, October 10, 2024 at age 69. 

He was inducted into the Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018. His 17 touchdowns in 1976 was a school and Southwest Conference record. He was a four-year letterman. George Woodard, #33, was a part of then head coach Emory Bellard’s wishbone offense.
