Joanne Denise Burger
February 13, 1938 - June 11, 1999
Joanne Denise Burger passed away June 11, 1999. She was the oldest child of Charlie and Ruth (Wilds) Burger.
She was employed as a chemist by Dow Chemical Company in Freeport, Texas. She was a lifelong book lover and science fiction enthusiast who served as the first president of the Houston Science Fiction Society.
