Cameron Chase Lepsky
September 23, 2003 - August 31, 2024
Cameron Chase Lepsky, 20, of Avon, IN, passed away on August 31, 2024. He was born to Sean and Deanna (Irick) Lepsky on September 23, 2003 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cameron was a graduate of Avon High School, later attending college at Texas A&M University in hopes of becoming an aerospace engineer. Throughout his childhood, he loved taking walks, playing video games and watching sunsets--in addition to playing Dungeons & Dragons with his friends. Cameron also took part in various Robotics camps through school, including the Avon Rob-Orioles Team. Cameron was an undeniably bright and intelligent young man, graduating with honors and dedicating his studies to fulfilling his unlimited curiosity about the universe and how things worked. His family couldn’t be more proud of him. While reserved, his sharp wit and insightful humor would fill every room he entered with boisterous laughter and endearing tales. Cameron passed as a result of his ongoing battle with mental health challenges. He was infinitely loved by his family and friends. His loss will be felt deeply and he will forever be missed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home starting at 3:00pm, where friends and family may visit from 1:00pm until the time of services. Cameron is survived by his loving parents, Sean and Deanna Lepsky; his sister, Madelynne Lepsky and a bountiful extended family that will hold him in their hearts.
One of the qualities we admired most about Cameron was the genuine kindness, curiosity, empathy, and humor with which he approached life. Since there is nothing we can do to rewrite his time on this earth, we ask that you spend every day remembering Cam by emulating those values where he will not be able to. In lieu of flowers, the family would kindly ask for donations to be made to the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention or the Misty Eyes Animal Shelter (616 S County Rd. 800 E. Avon, IN 46123).
