Ron was a proud Aggie of Texas A&M University and graduated in 1959 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was proud of the fact that he worked hard to pay for his college education by flying planes crop dusting. Upon graduation he worked for numerous oil and gas companies but is most proud of the work he put into starting and developing the Fluor Arabia company in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia where he served as Vice President for 3 years taking his family along for the journey. He took great pride in his many work achievements and his family achievements at home. He enjoyed years of traveling around the world with his family. He was the owner of numerous boats, campers, RVs, lake homes and several airplanes showing his love for adventure. He loved flying his Cessna and taking his wife, family, and dog all over Texas and the country. Ron was a hardworking man and was most comfortable in his work environment where he was admired by many colleagues. He continued working up until the disease had taken a toll on his thoughts and reasoning.

More than anything, Ron was a man of great faith with a deep devotion to his religion. He believed in Jesus Christ, his savior, so we take great solace and strength knowing he is home with Our Lord in peace.
