Walter L. "Lamar" Cheatham, III 

May 23, 1943 - September 2, 2024 

Walter Lamar Cheatham, III, 81, Washington, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on September 2, 2024.

He was born in Columbia, Tennessee, grew up in Dallas, Texas, lived and worked in the Atlanta area for many years until he retired. Walter was a talented self-employed architect who studied his art at Texas A & M University. He enjoyed traveling, collecting vintage military guns and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lamar Cheatham, Jr. and Virginia Elizabeth Sundstrom Cheatham. His survivors include his brother, Jack Cheatham (Connie) and niece and nephew.
