Charles Phillip "Chuck" Stough 

January 6, 1965 - September 21, 2024 

Charles “Chuck” Phillip Stough was a caring father, son, brother, colleague and friend. He left this world suddenly on September 21, 2024 at the age of 59.

Charles was born to Charles Leroy Stough and Phyllis Roland on January 6, 1965. He is survived by his children: Phillip and Jordan, the mother of his children: Patricia Stough, and his mother, stepfather, and siblings: Phyllis Roland, John Bess, Howard Stough, Holly Davis, Trina Atkinson, their spouses and families.

Charles was raised in Iola, Texas where he graduated from Iola High School in 1983. After graduating, he moved to College Station to further his education. It is there that he met his wife, Patricia, and their 28 year marriage began. Together, they had their twins: Phillip and Jordan.

Charles is a Texas A&M University graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration- Accounting. He began his accounting career shortly after his graduation in 1995 with Halliburton. He was involved with various divisions within the company. He had the opportunity to live abroad in Venezuela and Singapore, where he was able to share these experiences with his children and family. Charles was a hardworking man and a loyal employee. He was admired for all of his honesty, integrity, and work ethic.

Charles was a devoted man to his faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He went above and beyond to share his faith with his loved ones. He was the constant in his children's lives and the rock of his family. His greatest pleasures included spending time with his family, his love for nature, reading scripture and good ol’ classic rock. His wit and sense of humor will not be forgotten. His smile, not shown often, will be remembered fondly. He will be loved and missed dearly by all that had the privilege of knowing him.

A gathering for Charles will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
