Ryan Bradley Jones
April 12, 1989 - October 7, 2024
Ryan Jones, 35, of Austin, TX, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 7, 2024, from an unknown medical complication.
Born on April 12, 1989, in Houston, TX, to Marcy and Lynn Jones, Ryan’s curiosity and passion for life were evident from an early age. After graduating from Deer Park High School in 2007, where he excelled in varsity tennis and Ultimate Frisbee, he attended Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude in 2011. His academic achievements were a reflection of his hardworking and determined nature.
Ryan was a man of many passions with a deep love for the outdoors. Whether skiing in the Colorado mountains or hiking its trails, he always found peace and joy in nature. He loved to fish and spent countless hours casting lines and chasing the perfect catch. His outdoor adventures often came with a humorous twist— tales of squirrel bites and kangaroo kicks that were shared among friends and family with laughter.
Beyond his love for nature, Ryan had an appreciation for the finer things in life. He enjoyed whiskey tasting and took great pleasure in exploring different flavors, often sharing his favorites with friends and family during gatherings. He also loved a good prank—like the time he purchased an expandable fork and brought it to Thanksgiving with his family and Christmas with the Dosouto family. With a mischievous grin, he reached across the table, surprising his unsuspecting family by stealing bites of their food. Ryan and Franchesca later decided to always keep the expandable fork in their suitcase, ready for any opportunity to bring laughter on their travels.
Ryan was a talented writer and voracious reader. He was always eager to explore new ideas, immerse himself in stories, and share his thoughtful insights with those around him.
In 2024, Ryan channeled his entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding a staffing company with his longtime friend and business partner, Stacia Palladino. Though the business was still in its early stages, his excitement for this new chapter was palpable, and those around him saw the immense potential for success.
Ryan’s greatest adventure began in 2019 when he met Franchesca. Living just down the street from each other during the pandemic, they quickly became inseparable, spending their days cooking together and building a love that would shape their lives. In March 2022, they bought their first home, and on May 28, 2022, they were married, embarking on a journey filled with travel, laughter, and unwavering love. They embraced life to the fullest, traveling to breathtaking destinations like the Maldives, Newport, RI, Cancun, Big Bend National Park, and many others across the U.S. Every trip was an adventure, filled with new memories and laughter.
At home, Ryan and Franchesca shared their love with their two beloved dogs, Rhody and Teddy. As a devoted dog-dad, Ryan found immense joy in spoiling them, and they were a cherished part of their family.
Ryan had a magnetic personality that lit up every room he entered. His sense of humor was legendary—whether it was a witty joke, a goofy prank, or dressing up just to make others laugh, Ryan had a special gift for bringing joy to those around him. He especially loved hosting game nights with friends and family, where spirited rounds of Taboo, Bingo, and other favorites always brought laughter and playful competition. He especially shined during these moments, creating memories that his loved ones will treasure forever.
Every year, Ryan eagerly joined his best friends in their annual fantasy football league, a cherished tradition that spanned many seasons. For him, it was more than just competition—it was a way to stay connected with his best friends, sharing in their laughter, banter, and camaraderie. The league became a symbol of their enduring friendship, one that Ryan treasured deeply.
He also had a special love for the holidays, going all out for Halloween, hosting Friendsgiving and embracing the magic of Christmas. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he never missed a chance to make these moments memorable. Ryan's friends and family will forever cherish his ability to find light in every situation, and his playful spirit even extended to matching outfits with Franchesca.
To know Ryan was to witness his love for life and people. He approached every day with an open heart, always ready for the next adventure, big or small. His enthusiasm was infectious, and he embraced every moment with joy and kindness. Though his time was cut far too short, the love and memories he leaves behind are lasting and profound.
Ryan and Franchesca shared a bond that was undeniable. They filled their days with laughter, love, and plans for a future they were so excited to build together. Though their story was tragically abbreviated, they lived a lifetime of love in their years together, a love that will be cherished by all who witnessed it.
Ryan's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life lived to the fullest. His impact on the lives of his family and friends will endure, and his memory will continue to light the way for those who knew and loved him.
