Olivia Grace Zidek 

July 11, 1991 - October 5, 2024 

Olivia Grace Zidek, age 33, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Born on July 11, 1991, in San Antonio, Texas, Olivia was the beloved daughter of John Zidek and Carol Moczygemba Zidek.

She graduated from Floresville High School, class of 2009. Olivia pursued higher education at Texas A&M University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree of economics, class of 2013. Olivia had a deep love for nature, playing golf, and her time on the water. She cherished spending time with the ones she loved. Her vibrant smile could light up any room.

Olivia was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Alice Grace Urbanczyk Moczygemba; paternal grandfather, Alvin Zidek; and cousin, Jonathan Zidek. She is survived by her parents, John (Lynda Ragan) Zidek, and Carol Zidek; brother Matthew (Kayleigh) Zidek; sister, Emily Zidek and fiancé Gabriel Meza; maternal grandfather, Julian Moczygemba; paternal grandmother, Georgia Pavelka Zidek; nephews, Ian and Eli Zidek; furbaby, Miley, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Floresville. A rosary will be recited there beginning at 10:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will begin there at 11:00 AM, with Father Kris Bytomski officiating. Interment will follow the services at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, in Poth. Pallbearers will be cousins, Michael Lyssy, Steven Lyssy, Anthony Lyssy, Scott Lyssy; friends, Jonathan Vargo, and Landon Pawlik. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews, Ian and Eli Zidek; friends, Alex Crane, Danessa Stevens, Allison Pruski, Kaylin Biela, Kaley Garza, Taylor Miles, Cheyanne Baker, and Courtney Kincade.
