Bobby Jack McGuire, known to all as Bobby, departed this world on November 11, 2024, at his home in Magnolia, Texas, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born on April 7, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Bobby's infectious smile and generous spirit were a blessing to all who knew him throughout his 71 years of life.
Bobby pursued his passion for engineering at Texas A&M University, which led to a career in the oil and gas industry. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a successful career, culminating in his role as Senior Director of Business Development for Enbridge Energy. Bobby's professional life was marked by his unwavering dedication and the respect he earned from colleagues and associates alike.
Beyond the office, Bobby's life was rich with the love of his family and a multitude of interests. He shared a beautiful life with his devoted wife, Charlene Hill McGuire, and was the proud father of two daughters, Katie Meyer, married to Kevin, and Kristi Dawson, married to Peter. His role as a grandfather brought him immeasurable joy, cherishing every moment with Kinley Ella Meyer, Kolbie Kristene Meyer, Emery Kate Dawson, Avery Joy Dawson, and his bonus grandson, Augustus Carroll Dawson.
An avid golfer, Bobby could often be found on the green, relishing the game and the camaraderie it brought. His love for hunting was equally matched by his passion for all things Texas A&M Sports, a fervor he proudly shared with friends and family. Watching his daughters coach their respective sports teams was among his favorite pastimes, a testament to his steadfast support and love for his family.
Bobby's legacy is one of boundless generosity, love, and selflessness. His commitment to his family was unwavering, and his ability to give without expectation touched the lives of many.
