Steven Curtis "Steve" Willmoth
March 4, 1955 - November 13, 2024
Steven Curtis Willmoth, 69, a lifetime resident of Burleson, Texas was born March 4, 1955 to George and Ruby (Mayfield) Willmoth. On November 13, 2024, he went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family.
Steve graduated from Burleson High School in 1973. He then went on to Texas A&M University to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy, as a loud and proud Aggie, Class of '77 "Whoop!"
After graduation, he continued alongside his father to cultivate the land in Burleson and throughout Johnson County. He went on to have a successful landscaping company, which he retired from after 34 years.
Steve had three wonderful children of which he was so proud, and married the love of his life, Debbie, on February 19, 2000.
Steve was a dedicated Christian and member at Pathway Church, where he served as an Elder for many years. He never knew a stranger, and had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh. Steve was a lover of his family, classic Chevy cars and his dogs, Ruby and Rainy.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie, and his parents George & Ruby Willmoth.
He is survived by daughter Molly Austin and husband Casey Austin; daughter Anna Willmoth and "Justin Cox"; son Seth Willmoth and wife Tamara Willmoth; grandchildren Wyatt, Kennedy, Kash, Lucy, Finley, Ruby Kate, Layken, and Truett; brother Scott Willmoth.
Steve's Celebration of Life will take place Thursday, November 21st at 10:30 AM at Pathway Church in Burleson, Texas. Reception to follow.
