Mark Allen Zembrod

May 12, 1966 - August 24, 2023

It’s with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Mark Allen Zembrod.

Mark was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Darlene (Perron) Zembrod of 20 years and a cherished father to sons Mason Zembrod of Fort Worth, Texas, Duncan Zembrod of Burleson, Texas, Stepson Jesse Mounsey of Timmins, and Stepdaughter Rebecca Mounsey of Timmins and son in law Doug Symth. He greatly enjoyed his grandsons Liam Mounsey, Carson Symth, and Tripp Symth, who all three never failed to put a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by his brother David Zembrod of Fort Worth, Texas and by all his family and friends here in Timmins, in Texas, and in Germany. He was predeceased by his father Anton Zembrod and by his mother Vivian Zembrod of Texas.

Mark had a deep love for the sea and all the creatures in it, leading him to get his degree of Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University. He worked as a park ranger in Texas after college, it was a position he thoroughly enjoyed. Mark replicated the sea, with live coral and exotic fish aquarium tanks created for his clients in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. He became Director of Sales for Concentrated Aloe Company in Florida and was with the company for 10 years before immigrating to Canada in 2007.

While living here in Timmins, Mark worked for Pepsi and enjoyed those he worked with and the people he delivered to. Whatever work Mark did, he did his utmost to do his best and was appreciated for it.

He loved working in metal and wood creating beautiful pieces of art for family, friends, and those who commissioned his art. Mark was also gifted with conversation, being able to converse on almost any subject. He had a great mind, soul, and sense of humor.

“Markisan”, you were one of a kind and you left us all way too soon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 24th, 2023, from 1pm to 3pm at 890 Mahoney Rd, Timmins, Ontario Canada.

Arrangements entrusted to Stinson Funeral Home, 100 Bruce Avenue, South Porcupine, ON, P0N 1H0  www.stinsonfuneralhome.net
