David Wayne "Dave" Posey
June 15, 1956 - September 15, 2024
David "Dave" Wayne Posey, beloved husband of Nanda Posey, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Betty Posey. Dave is lovingly remembered by his children Jennifer Posey and Christopher Posey, daughter-in-law Christin, and grandchildren Cydney, Charissa, and Clayton Posey. He is also survived by his sister, Tricia, and her husband, Bruce Bellinghausen.
Born in Odessa, TX, and raised in Post, TX, Dave pursued higher education at Texas A&M University. He found fulfillment in his career as a drafter, where his attention to detail and dedication were admired by colleagues and friends.
Dave had a lifelong passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, a hobby that not only brought him joy but also led him to the love of his life, Nanda Posey. He was a proud HOG member of the Fort Worth Harley Davidson chapter, where he served as a Road Captain and Ambassador. Additionally, Dave was an active member of the Tulsa HOG, fondly known as the "Patch Lady’s Husband" in honor of Nanda's involvement in the community.
In retirement, Dave devoted himself to caring for his beloved daughter Jennifer and cherished every moment spent with his family and grandchildren. Dave's warm smile and generous spirit touched the lives of many, leaving behind beautiful memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
