He then went on to be the first Head Golf Professional at Preston Trail Golf Club and head golf professional at L.B. Houston and Tenison Golf Courses in Dallas. For almost twenty years, Jerry was the Director of Golf at Firewheel Golf Park in Garland. He oversaw the construction of 63 holes of golf at Firewheel– the largest golf course operation in the state and 3rd largest in the nation in one location.
