Phillip George Day, Jr. 

April 2, 1948 - February 9, 2025 

Phillip George Day, Jr., age 76, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Mr. Day was born April 2nd, 1948, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Phillip, Sr. and Lucille Day. Phillip graduated from Byrd High school and became a life long Aggie after he graduated from Texas A&M University in 1970 with a bachelor's degree. Outside of his love for people he had a strong passion in animal welfare and environmental issues. He was a beloved husband to Rose, and the best father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Mr. Phillip George Day, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife, Rose; son, Phillip, III; daughter, Jennifer and husband Garrett; grandchildren, Matthew and Chloe; and a host of other cousins, nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the South Woodland Hills Clubhouse, 2030 Shadow Rock Dr, Kingwood, TX 77339. In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Phillips name to any animal welfare or environmental organizations of your choice.
