Stephen Bryant "Steve" Brisbay
October 31, 1960 - January 10, 2025
Steve Brisbay, loving husband, son and father, passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 64.
Steve was born on October 31, 1960, in Houston, Texas. Steve lived most of his younger years in the Aldine area, graduating from Aldine High School in 1979. He loved horses, dogs and fishing. As a boy he wanted to be a cowboy. He grew up active in many sports. He rode in the Harris County Junior Mounted Posse delivering the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo invitation to the mayor of Brenham. While attending Texas A&M, he was on the waterskiing team. Steve loved saltwater fishing and spent many weekends fishing the Laguna Madre at Port Isabel, Texas. He spent most of his professional career working in Oil and Gas at Texaco and Marathon Oil Company.
Steve is survived by his wife, Linda Brisbay, daughter Ally Brisbay, mother Carol Rose, stepfather Don Rose, father Ronald Brisbay, step-sister Nicole Tupper and husband Josh and step-brother Ryan Verducci and wife Jessica, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Catherine and Claude Brisbay, Helen Zweigel and Abe Sigerman, and stepmother Linda S. Brisbay.
He will be missed immensely but his memory lives on in our hearts forever.
The family will receive friends at Peevey Funeral Home, Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm., the funeral service will also be held at the funeral home, Monday, January 20, 2025 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
