Herbert Earl Dunnington, IV of Pearland, Texas passed away June 29, 2024.

Bert was born March 11, 1986. He studied at Texas A&M University before serving in the United States Army, earning the rank of first lieutenant. After working in logistics and warehouse management, he began teaching government and economics at Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown in 2017. There, he received recognition from his students and the school for his work in the classroom.

Bert was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend. He was always deeply exploring new subjects and joyfully sharing with others any fun ideas or insights he gained.

Bert is survived by his wife, Leslie; his children, Stella and Jack; his parents, Herb and Robin; brother, Benjamin and wife Samantha Fix; sister, Hannah and husband Adam Napper.
