Jon K. Rowe 

December 5, 1966 - April 9, 2025 

Jon Rowe, Class of 1989, passed away on April 9, 2025. He was born in Gladewater on December 5, 1966. He leaves behind his loving wife, Cindy Tallent Rowe, Class of 1989, precious daughters, Alyssa Elbert (Daniel, Class of 2006 ), Leslie Finnegan (Michael), and Rebecca Rowe Moore (Chris) Class of 2019. He also leaves grandchildren, Eva and Julia Elbert, Macy Finnegan, and soon so be Alden Jon Moore.

Jon was a faithful Christian man being a lifelong member of the Gladewater First Baptist Church. He loved his job at Texas Eastman in Longview. He was also a proud member of the Kilgore College Board of Trustees, and has served as a School Board member for Gladewater ISD for many years.

He always wanted to be an Aggie as his older brothers went to A&M...Jay, Jeff-Class of 1982, Jed-Class of 1984, and Jody. His mother also graduated with her Master's in Education in 1974 from A&M.
