New grads, keep your connection to A&M strong

Susan "Sue" Owen '94 May 2, 2018 5:31 PM updated: July 8, 2021 2:15 PM

You may be leaving campus, but you’re an Aggie always! Here’s how to stay connected to A&M and each other through The Association of Former Students:

Young Alumni Weekend
Hundreds of recent A&M grads came to last year’s Young Alumni Weekend. It’s a weekend filled with fun, food and other young alumni just like you! The next event is set for fall 2021: tx.ag/YAW. See more Young Alumni events at tx.ag/YAevents

Home and away-game tailgates
Though these events were canceled in 2020, plans are underway for 2021: You’re invited to a free tailgate at every A&M football away game and to watch every home game on the Alumni Center's video wall! The Association hosts these free events to bring Aggies together. tx.ag/AllAggieTailgate

200+ Texas A&M Clubs
Moving somewhere new? Get involved with an A&M Club at tx.ag/Clubs and update your address at tx.ag/Profile to get emails about events in your area. Make new friends and volunteer at Aggie events or become an officer!

Local Musters
Many Musters are like family get-togethers, and they are the largest single-day gathering of Aggies. More than 300 are held worldwide; most need volunteer help. Mark April 21 on your calendar and bookmark tx.ag/FindAMuster!

Join the Century Club
For your first three years as a new grad, you get 50% off membership in the Century Club. Your gift supports student organizations, scholarships, all of the Former Student Programs described here and more. tx.ag/RecentGrad

Coach’s Nights
Hundreds of Aggies in six Texas cities attend these huge events each summer, hear from Texas A&M's football coach, meet the yell leaders and get to pet Miss Reveille! tx.ag/CoachsNight

Find An Aggie
Locate that Ag you met at a Howdy Hour but lost their business card, or find fellow former students in the area you're moving to! Fill out your profile to get badges related to your student activities and your former student leadership positions: tx.ag/FindAnAggie

These services are supported by gifts to The Association of Former Students - more than 50,000 individuals making annual donations that are typically less than $15 a month. Add your support at tx.ag/Give.
