“If there is an A&M man in one-hundred miles of you, you are expected to get together, eat a little, and live over the days you spent at the A&M College of Texas.”

In 1883, Aggies gathered together for fellowship and to relive their college days and the victories and defeats won and lost upon the drill field and in the classroom.  This first meeting has evolved into one of Texas A&M’s most revered traditions, Aggie Muster.  Now celebrated on April 21st of each year, Aggies all over the world still gather together to honor the memories of A&M men and women who have passed and to ensure that their memory lives on in the hearts of Aggies everywhere.

Texas Aggie Muster will be observed in more than 300 locations around the world.  These Muster gatherings are held in many unique places ranging from battleships and foxholes during World War II to ballrooms, steakhouses and for those Aggies in Nueces County at the Buc Days Rodeo.  Our Aggie Muster will begin with lunch, served from 12:30 pm til 3:00 pm, at the American Bank Center Sky Lounge.  We will cheer on the cowboys and cowgirls, bull riding and calf roping, and even some mutton bustin at the Buc Days Miller Lite Pro PRCA Rodeo in our own Aggie section which starts at 2 pm.  And after the last bull is pulled, we will gather on Corpus Christi Bay under the Buc Days tent to remember and honor the Aggies who have passed and we hold so dear.

In order to ensure that we have enough food and group seating in the arena, the attached RSVP Form & payment must be received no later than Friday, April 5th, 2013.  The cost for tickets is $25 per person, which includes lunch and tickets to the Buc Days Rodeo. Orders and tickets can be mailed or picked up at 4133 Gollihar Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78411 during normal business hours (M – F, 8 am – 5 pm). Orders may also be made on saltyaggies.com by visiting the “Muster” Page under the “Events” tab.  An Aggie Will Call table for Aggie Muster orders will be available on the East Side of the American Bank Center.

After April 5th the cost goes up to $30 per person.  A very limited number of seats will be available for purchase at the American Bank Center at the Aggie Will Call table before the event for $30.

If you plan to attend the ceremony only, which will take place at 4 pm,  there is no cost and you are able to join us at the Buc Days tent located on the east side of the American Bank Center.

Finally, if you have someone you want to ensure is on this year’s roll call, please let us know. We definitely don’t want to leave anyone off our list. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Aggie Muster!

“Softly call the Muster, let the comrade answer ‘Here’…”
