Howdy Ags!

We are gearing up for another great Aggie Muster in 2014. I hope you are looking forward to some great Hill Country BBQ and a laid-back, family-style Muster Ceremony in Dripping Springs.  LTC (Ret) Mickey Batsell '67, from Georgetown will bring our thoughts together around Muster this year as our 2014 Muster Program Speaker.

Muster will be held at the 12 Oaks Ranch - at the corner of Trautwein and Fitzhugh Rd.  We love our new location, this will be our second year there since we outgrew Founder's Park.  It is a great facility with a covered pavilion, ceiling fans and nice clean restrooms.  One rule that they just don't bend on is that pets are not allowed - they do lots of wedding there, and the leave behinds from half a dozen bird dogs just wouldn't go well with a wedding party!  Their website is http://twelveoaksranch.com/ if you want additional information or photos of the site.

In addition to our Facebook page - Dripping Springs Aggie Muster, we now have our own Website http://drippinags.com/.  We are just gettin' too fancy out here in the hill country! We will post updates, pictures and more details on both. Bookmark the website, and stop by the Facebook page and "like us" to get updates and information on Muster as well as all of the Aggie Activities - "Just West of Weird" in Dripping Springs.  

Please register online by April 17th (so we make sure to cook enough brisket and chicken) on the website -  http://drippinags.com/.  If you RSVP and pre-pay online, the BBQ Dinner price for Adults will be $15 per head and Kids are $5 (Kids 5 and under are free).  You are welcome to bring your own small cooler with your favorite BBQ companion beverage.

You can still pay at the door will be $20 per head for adults, and kids are still $5.  All proceeds and donations will go to the scholarship fund for local Ags.  For those of you joining us from Austin, don't wear a suit - boots and jeans are just fine out in the open air!
