This Muster is open to anyone (No Boy Scouting or Order of the Arrow Membership necessary) in the Bridgeport general area and will be held at "Camp 10" within Sid Richardson Scout Ranch.  This will be the iteration of this muster and the hope is that it will be well-received and become a traditional Muster when there is a corresponding Boy Scout or Order of the Arrow event at SR2 on April 21st of each year.

Speaker: Greg Buell, Scoutmaster of Troop 1910 out of Keller, TX & Corp of Cadets / Aggie Band Member, Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '91!

Directions to SR2:

Sid Richardson Scout Ranch Directions Map

Sid Richardson Scout Ranch (SR2) is a 2500 acre camp with over 15 miles of shoreline on Lake Bridgeport, northwest of Fort Worth and west of Denton. From downtown Fort Worth, it is approximately 60 miles to the camp gate taking I-35 north to Hwy 287, Hwy 287 to Decatur, and Hwy 380 from Decatur to to Runaway Bay. SR2 is 70 miles from DFW Airport.

If you are using a GPS or Google Maps to get to the camp the best address to enter is:

“Sid Richardson Scout Ranch, Boy Scout Road, Runaway Bay, Texas” – that should get you to the front gate.

The GPS coordinates of the front gate are:
33° 11′ 44.24″ N
97° 54′ 27.40″ W

From the front gate, follow the signs for "Wood Badge" or "Twin Arrows" and that should lead you to Camp 10 where Gilwell Hall is located.
