Please join the Ozark A&M Club for our 2025 Aggie Muster Program. This year’s speaker is Dr. Christine Alvarado, ‘93.
Dr. Christine Alvarado is a distinguished expert in poultry science. She earned her B.S. in Biomedical Science, and MS and Ph.D. in Food Science from Texas A&M University. Alvarado has held faculty positions at Virginia Tech, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M University, educating the next generation of leaders and researching meat quality and food safety. She has served on various industry boards and as a subject matter expert for USDA FSIS. She currently works as a Chief Scientific Officer for an ingredient company. Her applied national and international research and consulting opportunities have been an integral part of meat quality and food safety developments in the poultry industry. Her spare time is dedicated to serving her Aggie community, teaching yoga, and life coaching women in the industry. Alvarado has 4 children, loves to teach students to be agricultural advocates, and bleeds maroon and white.
BBQ and cake will be served.
Cost: $30 ($10 children 12 & under)
Club dues: $15/family $10/individual
