David Heinz Fischer Sr., 59, of LaBelle, died Monday July 12, 2004 at his resident in LaBelle. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Rev. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening with a scriptural rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Mr. Fischer was a native of Houston and lived 23 years in LaBelle. He was self-employed as a scrap metal broker. Mr. Fischer was a graduate of Texas A & M University and a member of the 1966 Spider D Class. He is survived by his wife, Pam Fischer of LaBelle; mother, Margaret Brandt Fischer of Beaumont; one daughter, Michelle Esclovon and husband Jesse of LaBelle; two sons, David Fischer Jr. and wife Ami of Dallas, and Scott Gray and wife Debbie of Katy; one sister, Martha Kubicek and husband Han of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Jessica Esclovon, Blake Gray, and Lauren Gray.
