Aggies who want to purchase the special edition maroon 12th Man Towels to raise funds for Texas wildfire victims and firefighters have until Sunday, October 9, to place their online order to ensure the shipment arrives by gameday on Saturday, October 15. Fans
attending the football game against Baylor at Kyle Field are being asked to wear white shirts and wave maroon towels as a unified symbol of support for Texans who have lost their homes and ranches due to fire.
The maroon towels are available for purchase at
www.aggiewildfirerelief.com. Towels are also available at the C.C. Creations Warehouse (112 Holleman Drive) and Tent Sale (Albertson’s parking lot on University) on Friday, October 14 and the morning of the game. White shirts will be available at these
locations, as well.
Former Students and Aggie fans are asked to purchase additional towels to give to friends and family members, and to help spread the word about this special event. Bulk ordering information is available by contacting
aggie.wildfirerelief@gmail.com. Aggie Wildfire Relief asks you to consider purchasing enough towels for your local A&M Club or tailgate group. So far, more than $20,000 has been raised by the student body
of Texas A&M.
