Larry A. Wendel
February 19, 1943 - August 15, 2013
Larry A. Wendel, age 70, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013. He was born February 19, 1943 in Corpus Christi to the late Allen E. and Marguerite Dreier Wendel.
Larry retired from Dow Chemical. He had served in the United States Air Force. He was the valedictorian of Goliad High School, Class of 1960. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Texas A & M University.
He is survived by his sisters, Carol O'Brien of Calallen and Margie Ratliff of Kingsland ; brother, Paul Wendel of Meyersville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charles Wendel.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
