Dr. Doyle Wayne Thomas
Dr. Doyle Wayne Thomas, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Dr. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean, and great-granddaughter, Abigail Grace Pendergrass. He received his BS from Texas A&M, Masters from Purdue, and PhD from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Survivors include his sons, Brian Thomas (Belinda) and Jeffrey Thomas (Janet); grandchildren, Jacob Thomas, Elizabeth Pendergrass (David), Sarah Thomas, Morgan Lee Thomas, Lucas Thomas; and great-grandson, James Thomas. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
