Dick Knight, 86, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Dalhart, TX 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 17, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, Dalhart, Texas. 
Burial will follow in Olton Memorial Cemetery, Olton, Texas at 4:00 PM 

Richard Keith Knight was born August 2, 1928 in Olton, Texas to Otha and Katherine J. (Morgan) Knight. 
Dick was raised in Olton and graduated from Dalhart High School. He attended Texas A&M before joining the US Army. Dick retired from the Army and returned to Dalhart and began working for International Harvester. Mr. Knight was active with the XIT Rangers and was the “go to” man for anything involving Veterans, from the annual VA parade to the Veterans Memorial Park. He was known all over the panhandle for his passion for horses and his amazing horsemanship.
