Judge Pat A. Robertson
February 10, 1937 - December 19, 2015

Judge Pat A. Robertson ran out of time on Dec. 19, 2015 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 78. He did so peacefully in his sleep surrounded by the people who loved him. He is survived by his dearest, Joellen Goff; his amazing sister, Peggy Robertson; his daughter, Robbin Polter and son Phillip Robertson. He leaves behind daughter-in-law, Karen Robertson; grandchildren, Mariel Polter, Casey, Kelsey and Kyle Robertson. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Robertson; son-in-law, David Polter and grandson, Ezra Van Polter. He is the son of Louise Robertson and the Grandson of Ellen Teressa Peery Walters and Van Bufford Walters. "The Judge" presided over the Municipal Court of the Town of Highland Park and astounding 44 years, where his judicial temperament was a cornerstone of his success and longevity. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1958 and would be considered an Aggie of the most passionate kind. He was an amazing criminal defense attorney, who's passionate and fiery style of law practice delivered countless miraculous verdicts ranging from the barber of Hunt County to the most sensational in Dallas County History. In 1995 he started a law practice with his son, who he later groomed into a successful attorney in Dallas and an associate Judge in Highland Park under his watch. The family will be gathering together to receive friends on Sunday, December 27, at Sparkman\Hillcrest Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. On Monday, December 28, at 12 pm a service in his honor will be held at Sparkman\Hillcrest Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Wills Point Texas, at White Rose Cemetery.
