More than 60 Aggie Rings per month are reported missing to The Association of Former Students. The most efficient way to get help or find an Aggie Ring's owner isn’t necessarily posting on social media – give The Association a call, because we not only have Ring records, we maintain the former student database! The Ring Office is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at (979) 845-1050.
If you lose your Aggie Ring:
— Update your contact info at AggieNetwork.com — that’s the first place many folks check when they find an Aggie Ring and can read the name inside.
— Fill out a Lost Ring report at tx.ag/lostfound.
The most common fate of Aggie Rings that are reported lost is slipping off in a lake/river/ocean. And unfortunately, a lot of those stay lost. So keep yours safe!
If you find an Aggie Ring, fill out a Found Ring report at tx.ag/lostfound.
The Association encourages Aggie Ring owners to insure against loss. Some policies may cover the cost of replacement, and The Association can provide proof of purchase and replacement value for most Rings from the 1960s onwards. If yours is stolen, be sure your police report includes the name engraved on it.
Taking your Aggie Ring off frequently because it’s too loose or too tight? Resizing it might be free!
Most Aggie Rings can be resized up or down two sizes for free (at most, it will cost $17-$33) through The Association and Balfour. Link: tx.ag/ringresize
Even repairing or replacing a damaged Ring may cost less than you think. If you have most of the gold pieces to turn in, your new Ring could easily cost you less than $50.
Call or email The Association's Aggie Ring Office with any questions you ever have: (979) 845-1050 and AggieRing@AggieNetwork.com.
