Susan "Sue" Owen '94 September 10, 2019 1:03 PM updated: September 23, 2019 2:53 PM

Four F-16 fighters piloted by four Aggies will provide the flyover for Saturday’s Texas A&M football game vs. Lamar!

They are part of the 301st Fighter Wing, an Air Force Reserve F-16 unit, stationed at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (Carswell).

If you're an Association of Former Students donor, you help provide accommodations for the flyover crews on Aggie football Game Days! Thank you.

F-16 pilots:

  • Maj. Jared “Shack” Shackelford ’00
  • Maj. Trey “Slim” Sims ’97
  • Lt. Col. Justin “Colt” Lewis ’03
  • Lt. Col. David “Bush” Efferson ’90

Ground forward air controllers:

  • Maj. Matthew “Rage” Strongin ’04
  • Maj. Jason “Crack” Piper
