Class of '10 Aggie among pilots for flyover before Ole Miss game

Susan "Sue" Owen '94 October 24, 2022 12:50 PM updated: October 31, 2022 4:43 PM

An Aggie is among the pilots for Saturday's flyover of an Army reconnaissance plane before Texas A&M kicks off vs. Ole Miss.

Former students attending this weekend's Class of '82 40 Year Reunion will whoop extra loudly, as pilot Maj. Donald MacWillie '10 is the son of two Class of '82 Aggies. The Association of Former Students coordinates Class Reunions; find upcoming reunions at tx.ag/Reunions and your Class Agents at tx.ag/Class.

The MC-12 EMARSS aircraft is from the 15th Military Intelligence Battalion "Nighthawks," based in Texas at Robert Gray Army Airfield/Killeen Regional Airport. EMARSS stands for Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System.

  • Pilot-in-Command: Chief Warrant Officer 2 Bryan Bass
  • Pilot: Maj. Donald MacWillie ’10

If you’re an Association of Former Students donor, you help provide hotel accommodations for pilots and crew for home game flyovers. Thank you!

There are many ways that The Association works to support Aggies' gameday experience and bring Aggies together:
