Matthew Anthony Calderon
August 11, 2003 - October 19, 2022
Matthew Anthony Calderon graduated in the top 10% of his class from St. Anthony Catholic High School in San Antonio, Texas and was a student of Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station.
Matthew is best remembered for his love of the outdoors, his entrepreneurial spirit, his ready smile, and his gentle, caring, and peaceful presence. He is deeply loved and missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents Alejandro & DeeAnn Calderon, his brothers Bennett Andrew & Reagan Alexander Calderon, his maternal grandparents Diana Walls & the late Robert Walls, his paternal grandparents Maria Eugenia Calderon-Porter & Robert Porter & the late Jorge Alfonso Calderon.
A mass and memorial service will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the Oblate Grotto on 5712 Blanco Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78216.
The St. Anthony Alumni Association Class of 2021 will have a candlelight vigil for Matthew Calderon at the St. Anthony Chapel,3200 McCullough on Sunday, October 30th from 6pm-7:30pm.
